climbed to the top of a lighthouse on sunday.

wouldn't'a wanted to have to get up there in a hurry.

i thought it would be a good short film each person's reaction, "wow!" as they emerged out of the tiny door.

we hung out on the beach afterwards.

on avenue a at 13th st

has authentic mexican groceries.

so many different kinds of chiles!

but they also have cooked food. it's different every day. tacos, burritos, a lot of stewed meat.

not for the faint of heart, but warren, who gets food poisoning at the drop of a hat, has never gotten sick here.

there are a few tables in the store but it's a little cramped. so we took our food to the 6bc garden.

here is warren fanning his mouth dramatically as usual even though he asked for the hot sauce. what is up with that?
oh, and they had guava and mango jarritos, which i had never seen before.

the 6bc garden is not only my favorite garden because of the variety of plants in it.

the stonework is amazing.

i can't wait to have space to do this in.

even the buildings adjacent to it are lovely.

oh, and i designed and knitted a shrug.

ok, i know i'm not that cool, and i didn't look at every single one of the 454 bloggers who list the matrix revolutions as one of their favorite movies, but i think i can safely say that i am the least dorky looking of all of them.
