and here, by request, is mimi at the halloween parade. i didn't post this picture before because her costume is kind of lame. i am going to get started early next year and make her cerberus, the three-headed dog, with papier-mache. because i am a crazy craft person.

this is my current project, other than the bison stew that's slow cooking in my oven right now, that is. it's going to be a lamp. it's made of bonsai wire--my favorite craft material, easily malleable and holds its shape well--and cut up old lampshade, so it's fire-proof, in theory.
