making stuff
behold! the father of my child.
and i made a maternity dress out of a sheet.
and look at the teensy sweater! that i also made.
and this is how large i have become so far.
and, why yes, i have become one of those people who only talks about babies. who woulda thought?
(i finished the sweater out of the ball of wool pictured below a long time ago; i just don't have any good pictures of me in it yet.)

Lookin' good, ever'body!! Although I laughed at first, thinking you meant you were gonna wear the teensy sweater. xoxoxoxoxo
You look great, Tia! I have found knitting for a small person to be very satisfying. I can afford to buy nice yarn, and I can actually finish projects fairly quickly -- although there have been a couple of occasions when Frances has grown more quickly than I knit.
You don't look very large.
How many months are you?
Are you gonna keep your baby in a dresser drawer in your tiny studio?
No more late night sing-a-longs!
So sweet! I love the maternity dress. You have a gift!
FYR: the "word verification" below is "brestpro"! Fitting??
thanks, ladies!
i wish i had enough of that bamboo yarn for a sweater for me. it's so soft!
you would not believe how many hours i have spent researching yarn for a baby blanket. and i'm not telling you.
lori, i am now 27 weeks and much larger now. (the math makes that about 7 months, but the docs count from your LMP, making gestation actually 40 weeks, or 10 months, so when you just say you are "7 months pregnant" it can be confusing. because i have 3 more months to go, not 2.)
wait till you see the next muumuu, sar.
Congrats!
Tia, the baby is going to be here SO SOON. You look great. I ain't got anything funny to say -- just happy for you, and annoyed that I can't get it together enough to see you. :(
I always thought you would be one of those people who only talks about babies were you to have a baby.
