december
winter bums me out.
i grew up in the tropics and am programmed for sunshine all the time.
i am managing to get stuff done though. like, a lot of stuff.
like deciding what stitch i should use for the sweater i will knit with the yarn i am spinning. i've decided not to do cables. i will be experimenting with lace next. maybe frost flowers?
i made a dress.
the ubiquitous built by wendy 3835. universally flattering. believe me, i am a lot more stout than i look in this dress. the stripes are a little not great, but this is really a wearable muslin out of fabric i bought for pajama pants that ended up not being enough for pajama pants. i plan to make a jillion of these dresses and tops. i have a new theory about raglan sleeves: raglan sleeves are to big boobs what A-line skirts are to big hips.
i saw a hawk today in union square park.
and these guys making a sidewalk.
huh. so that's how they do it.

Oooo... can i buy one of these dresses? I have an A-line skirt not raglan sleeves body type tho. The lights & cords & textiles are so interesting to me and the sidewalks' bull floats less so (tho i can see how they might have been before) as i have done so much of that stuff myself since i bought this old house in colorado.
i like your stripes! i haven't tried that BBW pattern yet, but i'll have to. yours is super cute and flattering! i love the one with the diamond yoke though, 3964?
Maybe you should blog if you aren't gonna be on Facebook and not twittering, so I know what's going on with you.
